Exam sessions at Joliet Junior College are scheduled for 4 & 1/2 hours. Each session starts with an initial check-in. Initial check-in does not start until the start time of the scheduled session. After the initial check-in then account creation and verification occurs. After which a quick orientation to the exam and exam rules is given. After these three parts are completed the exam will commence. If a student arrives after the intial check-in they will not be seated for the exam session.
Some tips and basic rules for you before you come out for the exam. Please leave calculators, cell phones, and electronic devices in your car. They are not allowed to be used or held during the exam and must remain off at all times. Students are not allowed electronic communications of any sort during the exam. Students are not allowed to use paper other than that provided and collected during the exam session. Students should not bring books, bags, backpacks, and other non-essential items. Students should bring requried documentation, ID. All rules will be explained prior to the start of the exam.
