Students in the the Process Control and Instrumentation Technology program will develop a strong background system communications and programmable logic controllers (PLC) applications. A student may select the Process Operations Technology option that develops skill needed to monitor advanced process operations. Additionally, student coursework in either program will include mathematics, English and social science.
The Associate of Applied Science degree in this program can transfer to Bachelor of Science programs at selected colleges and universities. The student interested in transferring should contact the PCIT adviser for specific information.
