Employees who install and repair heating and/or refrigeration equipment must be prepared to solve a variety of problems. The program at Joliet Junior College will give you the skills and knowledge of test equipment, service and installation procedures, and theory of operation needed to enter this field as a well-paid, qualified service technician. Students also will have the opportunity to test for the required EPA certifications to work in this industry and take the Industry Competency Exam (ICE-Residential).
Habitat for Humanity Project
