Cisco / CNT -Cisco Networking Academy provides classroom instruction, online content, interactive tools, and lab activities to prepare individuals for networking careers in virtually every type of industry. JJC offers full training programs geared towards Cisco's CCNA and CCNP certifications. Classes are taught by certified Cisco professionals. As an added benefit, students enrolled in the Cisco program at JJC have access to Cisco career connection. As an extension of the Cisco Networking Academy Program, Career Connection seeks to link Networking Academy students and graduates with employers who are looking for job-ready IT and Networking candidates.
Digital Media Production AAS will provide students with career opportunities and hands-on experience in varied areas in the Digital Media field. The courses in the program will teach students the concepts and provide them with hands-on experience in digital media capture, management and tools in the areas of digital imaging, video editing and manipulation, motion graphics, audio production, 3D modeling, animation and visual illustration. Students will produce a variety of digital media projects in each of these areas as well as integrating them into complete final productions.
The GAME Program at JJC teaches students the fundaments of both game design and game development, with both an A.A.S. degree and a Certificate of Achievement offered through this curriculum.
Health Information Management (H.I.M.) professionals play a critical role in maintaining, collecting and analyzing the data that doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers rely on to deliver quality healthcare. They are experts in managing patient health information and medical records, administering computer information systems, and coding the diagnosis and procedures for healthcare services provided to patients.
There are 12 career options, including Associate in Applied Science degrees in administrative assistant, medical administrative assistant, visual graphics, and Word/information processing.
Training for several industry certifications are available through JJC’s CIOS department.
