As the Department Secretary, Diane Vlna's primary objective is to provide information to the Horticulture and Agriculture students. Housing, classrooms, and scholarship information are a few of the services she offers to the students. She will be the first contact most students have with the program.
Before coming to Joliet Junior College Diane previously worked as a Secretary at School District 126 and at Johnson & Johnson. Employment at Joliet Junior College began in 2006 in the English and World Languages Department in their International Education office, working on Study Abroad and the Self Instructional Language Program courses. She transferred to the Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences Department in January of 2011.
