Construction Management


The Construction Management program provides the student with the education and training necessary for employment in the construction industry or as a foundation to pursue additional study in the field.

The Construction Management curriculum at JJC is designed to reflect the current trends and technological advancements in the construction industry.This program prepares the student to advance his or her construction management education at a college or university.

What Will I Learn?

The Construction Management student will work on a variety of conceptual and real projects from the concept or initiation of the project to its conclusion in obtaining a building occupancy permit.

The annual AEC Career Night is hosted by the Joliet Junior College Technical Department to help students and the community connect with industry leaders and 4-year universities to find out what it takes to be successful as an architect, engineer, or construction manager.
