Janet has been working at the Joliet Junior College Total Fitness Center since 1997. She is the Fitness Specialist. In addition Janet is the administrator for Police P.O.W.E.R. testing at Joliet Junior College.
Janet is married to Richard and they have three children - Christopher, a Mortage Broker, Amanda, a Dental Hygienist , and Hannah, a student at Joliet Junior College.

- Physical Fitness Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, Cooper Institute, Dallas.
- Police P.O.W.E.R. Testing Instructor, Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board.
- AED/CPR Certified.
