Emily Marino is a graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy in Joliet, Il (1997). At JCA she was a standout volleyball, basketball, and softball player, earning 10 varsity letters. Emily went on to play softball at the University of Florida where she was a four year starting catcher/first baseman. She holds numerous records including career leader in home runs (28), RBI's (150), walks (138), and on-base percentage (.409). She is second in games started (267), third in hits (217), and third in games played (269). Her .296 batting average is fourth on Florida's all-time list.
Emily is a 2001 graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Science. After graduation, Marino spent the summer of 2001 in Italy playing professional softball. She then moved to Nashville, TN where she was employed at Worth Club K as a softball instructor.
