Student Learning Committee

Student Learning Committee members 2014

This committee is designed to guide the development, implementation, reporting and ongoing use of assessment for General Education and program improvement. The plans and reports that are developed will show how much our students are learning and where we have strengths and areas for improvement.

A faculty member, is elected to chair the committee. Members come from each academic and CTE department, and the Student Development division. Members lead the assessment planning in their area, and report back to the committee. We also foster assessment initiatives through grants, instructor education through conference attendance and other means.
