Lady Wolves open season at Lake Michigan
The Joliet Junior College women's basketball team suffered a 99-57 loss to Lake Michigan College to open up the 2009-2010 season. Sophomore Roneisha Jordan scored 17 points. Brittney Kesler scored 12 points and had 5 assists in the contest. "We had way too many turnovers today," Head Coach Shaun Sanderson said. The JJC women's basketball team was defeated by Madison College by a score of 85-52 in the Region IV Division III Semifinal game. Lauren Strother scored 18 points for the Lady Wolves. Brittney Kesler scored 14 points, while Megan Kohrt added 12 points. "I have seen great improvements from the first game of the season through the last game of the season," Head Coach Shaun Sanderson said. "We stayed tough and fought hard in every game. I am very proud of this group." JJC ends their season with a 10-22 overall record and a 6-8 N4C conference record.
