Kimberly Johnston
Head Cheerleading Coach
Kimberly Johnston begins her first year as head coach of the Joliet Junior College cheerleading program. She was an assistant coach to her sister, Kelly, for the past two seasons.
Kimberly was a four year cheerleader at Plainfield South High School. After high school, she attended Joliet Junior College where she cheered for three years. She was also a cheerleader at Lewis University for two years.
Kimberly currently resides in Plainfield, IL.

Assistant Cheerleading Coach
Kelly Johnston will begin her fourth year with the Joliet Junior College cheerleading squad. Kelly was an assistant coach at JJC for one year before taking over the program in 2008. She was the head coach for three seasons before her sister, Kimberly, took over as head coach. Coach Johnston and the team have participated in the Lewis University Cheerleading Competition for two seasons and have done very well amongst many four year colleges and universities. As an assistant, she helped lead the team to a first place finish in the Americheer competition at Navy Pier. She also assisted in the organization of the first annual JJC Cheerleading Competition
Kelly is a graduate of Plainfield South High School where she cheered for all four years. In the off-season, Johnston helped out the Plainfield Junior Cats Cheerleading team. After high school, Kelly attended Joliet Junior College where she was a two year cheerleader and team captain. She graduated from JJC with an associate's degree in arts. She recently completed her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Lewis University.
