Clouds of Fire: Origin of Stars is
a sky show that explores the formation of stars, from cold nebulae to blazing
suns. The stars in the night sky astronomers have only recently come to
understand.
Galaxies is presented as a nature walk on
the grand galactic scale. The show begins by looking at Earth’s night
sky, then travels outward through our own Milky Way and beyond to the
Virgo Supercluster of galaxies.
Larry, Cat in Space is a program written for children from 3 - 6 years of age, is about
the adventures of a cat that accidentally finds itself shipped to the
moon.
MarsQuest is divided into three sections.
The first concerns the history of man’s fascination with Mars. The
second deals with what is currently known about the Red Planet. The
third speculates about future manned explorations of Mars.
Our Place in Space is an exciting program
for the family and geared toward children 4 - 7 years of age (grades K -
3rd). A host of endangered animals explore the cause of day and night,
and the importance of the sun and other celestial objects that make up the
universe.
Rusty Rocket
is a program geared toward rookie
candidates in grades 1- 5. Rusty's final mission is an introductory tour of the solar system focusing on the variety of
planetary environments, with emphasis on the immense distances between the planets.
Solar System Spectacular
is a family program about the formation of our solar system. It
takes visitors on a guided tour in an imaginary spaceship.
Solar System Stake-Out joins planetary
investigator Sam Snork and his assistant, Elmo, as they solve a mystery
among the planets of our solar system.
Star Stealers: Planet Patrol 2 lets planetarium visitors join planetary investigator Sam Snork on
his latest adventure as the galactic gumshoe tries to find out who’s been stealing the stars.
Starflight is the classic
trip-through-the-universe planetarium program. It’s a journey across the
immense voids of space and time to explore the magical wonders of our
universe.
Story of the Star is a popular family program that explains Christmas from an astronomical perspective,
including theories concerning the exact date of Christ's birth and possible explanations for the Star of Bethlehem
Wonders of the Night is a program for the
whole family which uses constellations to explore nighttime wonders with
speculations about other worlds and intelligent beings.
