ACS Relay For Life: April 11th &12th (Lewis

Purpose:
The All College Relay for Life is a community gathering where everyone can participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out and take
turns walking or running around the track. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event—because cancer never
sleeps. Relays are overnight event!
Relay for Life brings together millions of people to raise money to help prevent cancer, save lives, and diminish suffering from the disease. While
you’re raising much needed funds, you’ll also be raising awareness of cancer prevention.
How is JJC Involved??
JJC has been involved for two consecutive years. The college is involved with the planning of the event and many teams participate. JJC
has raised over $25,000 for American Cancer Society. |
