The Coalition meets quarterly to discuss upcoming programs and ideas to continue the effort to reduce substance abuse by the students at JJC. The Coalition assisted in updating the JJC Student Code of Conductand is working on assisting Campus Police on establishing ordinances for the campus.

The Coalition was funded by grants received from the Illinois Department of Human Services Bureau of Substance Abuse Prevention. The funding was funneled through the Illinois Higher Education Center for Alcohol, Other Drug and Violence Prevention.
