Utility Failures

Power Outage

• In the event of a major utility failure, notify a CSO or the Campus Police Department immediately. Grundy Education Center should notify the Physical Plant Department at (815) 280-2332 and notify the building manager.
• If a power outage occurs in the building, in most instances the telephones should remain operational. In the event that the telephones do not work, the pay phones should remain operational.

Plumbing Failure/Flood

• Immediately cease use of all electrical equipment. Vacate the area if necessary.
• Notify a CSO or the Campus Police Department and the Physical Plant Department. Grundy Education Center should call the Physical Plant Department at (815) 280-2332 and notify the building manager.
