|
Joliet Junior College Lake is a
central aesthetic feature of the college campus. Joliet Junior College Lake is
in an entropic state, a condition not uncommon to urban lakes in northeastern
Illinois. This condition is causing water quality degradation that affects
local and regional watershed ecology. Without proper attention, continued lake
water quality degradation will continue to negatively affect the natural
environment of the campus and watershed. |
