ENLACE

The word ENLACE is derived from the Spanish word  "enlazar," meaning to link or weave together, to connect in such a way that the new entity is stronger than its parts. ENLACE is an acronym for ENgaging LAtino Communities for Education, a W.K. Kellogg Foundation initiative in higher education.

The Enlacé Scholars Program:

  • Is a Latino support network for students interested in earning an associate degree and transferring to a senior institution to earn a bachelor’s degree.

  • Is a collegiate leadership development program.

  • Provides opportunities to attend conferences.

  • Presents opportunities to explore internships, transfer programs, scholarships, financial aid options, and mentoring.

  • Offers skill-enhancement opportunities.

  • Lets students give back through community involvement.
