| Logging IN & OUT In order to assure proper tracking of attendance, parents are responsible for using the ProCare automated attendance tracking system to log
their child IN and OUT each day
1. Logging IN & OUT - When you arrive at
the center use your 4 digit ProCare number assigned to you at registration to log your child IN / OUT. ProCare log in / log out procedures
are carefully covered during New Parent Orientation sessions. If you have any questions about ProCare or the tracking systems please ask your
child’s teacher or the center coordinator for assistance.
2. Breakfast – If your child is scheduled between 6:30-7:00am they will be automatically included in the Breakfast Program. Children
who are not scheduled for breakfast but arrive during the morning hours before 10:00am will be served a mid-morning snack.
3. Lunch –
Children scheduled during lunch will automatically have a lunch ordered for them. If your
child is not scheduled for lunch and you request lunch to be added on to your child’s normal schedule you will be charged $2.50 for the lunch.
Also, parents who would like to schedule a lunch with their child may do so with advance notice and a charge of $2.50 will be added to the
following billing cycle.
4. Classroom Attendance –
Please assist your child in the arrival rituals of the
day. Help them hang their belongings in the appropriate classroom cubbies, wash their hands and walk them carefully to their classroom teacher
before you say good bye. Teachers will sign the child in on classroom attendance sheets that will later be compared to the ProCare tracking
system for accuracy.

Daily Schedule
6:30am-7:00am ~ Opening and Breakfast
7:30am-8:45am ~ Additional Teaching staff arrives and classrooms
split into groups.
Child selected/teacher supported activities are available in the both classrooms.
8:45am-9:00am ~ Clean up and bathroom break
9:00am-9:15am ~ Sharing Circle ~ Teacher will share activities and centers that are available for exploration and introduce new areas and
activities for the day.
9:15am-9:30am ~ Self-Serve Snacks with Teacher supervision
9:15am-11:30am ~ Children play and learn through extended exploration and discovery with teacher guided activities and interest centers.
(Web style curriculums are posted weekly in the classroom and on the ECC web-site) Daily outdoor play and activities when weather permits.
11:30am-11:50am ~ Transition
Group Activity in individual classrooms/Preparation for lunch
11:50am-12:50pm ~ Lunch
We will not conduct business during our children’s lunch schedule
12:50pm - 1:20pm ~ Prepare for nap ~ Large Group Activity
If your child will be leaving us after lunch, please collect all their belongings and check communication folder quietly while we prepare the
other children for their daily resting period.
1:30pm - 3:00pm ~ Nap time
Children rest on individual cots with sheets and blankets provided by the
center. Teachers supervise the area at all times and soothing music plays softly in a reduced light environment.
3:00pm - 3:30 pm ~ Transition
Children help with their cots and blankets and participate in a self-serve Snack.
3:30pm - 4:45pm ~ Free Choice Activity Centers
Child selected/teacher supported activities are available as children prepare for departure.
4:45pm-5:00pm ~ Children participate in closing rituals and prepare for parent pick up.
