The Associate in Applied Science degree prepares students to meet challenges offered in the HVAC Industry. Students will have the opportunity to work with highly trained and experienced professional instructors, specializing in related areas. The program focuses on the commercial aspect of building management and operation with an emphasis on hands-on-training using the most up-to-date professional training simulators and technology available. The A.A.S. program offers the students excellent employment opportunities in the following related areas:

  1. Service Technician
  2. Building Service Engineer
  3. Air Balancing Technician
  4. Supervision
  5. Contractor/Owner

The students will also have the opportunity to take the industry competency exams (ICE) in both residential and commercial areas.

offered through the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI). The (ICE) certification can make a major difference in the quality of jobs offered and starting salary.
