The floral design students, in connection
with the Student Chapter of the American Institute of Floral Designers (SAIFD), will
create wedding flowers for local brides. We limit the number of weddings we
take from September through April. The weddings are a fund-raising project to
help defray the cost of the national SAIFD design competition. Brides pay
cost of materials plus a $350 donation to the SAIFD. This is a fantastic bargain
for the bride and groom and a wonderful hands-on experience for our students.
