OBJECTIVES
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Customize the working environment for increased productivity.
2. Use the type tools and functions to create and control text within projects.
3. Create successful page layouts with type and graphics.
4. Edit paths by fine-tuning the curves, segments, and anchor points.
5. Create grids and apply them to their design.
6. Make masks and create compounds.
7. Design with blends.
8. Design with gradient meshes.
9. Use the four brush styles: Calligraphic, Scatter, Art and Pattern.
10. Use Illustrator’s Transformation Techniques to place objects in a specific pattern relative to one another and to repeat objects symmetrically.
11. Create advanced designs with vector and raster images.
12. Create custom graphics.
13. Effectively create and use patterns in their designs.
