Catalog Description
An introduction to Adobe InDesign, a design-oriented publishing tool that integrates text and graphics to produce files that may be printed on a local printer, taken to a commercial printing service, or published on the Web.
Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the course, the student
will be able to:
1. Navigate
within a document, managing the many palettes and maximizing screen space.
2. Use the
tools in the toolbox efficiently; such as applying color and gradients, drawing
Bezier curves.
3. Create multipage documents based on single and multiple Master
Pages.
4. Identify
the types of images that can be imported into InDesign
and how to place and transform them.
5. Package
documents for commercial printing service providers.
