Summer Camp 2010
July 20 - 22, 2010
With so many influences upon young women today, understanding the vast number of career opportunities can be overwhelming. We also live in a society where many of tomorrow’s jobs do not exist yet while plenty of today’s jobs will fade away. GET is a career exploration and networking summer camp focused on the engagement, education and empowerment of middle school aged young women. Our goal is to increase awareness about the variety of educational and career opportunities available in occupational areas considered non-traditional for women. Our camp will also focus on the importance of collaboration, confidence and team building as necessary ingredients for a successful future.
At the GET Summer Camp, girls will learn about careers in architecture, computers, construction, criminal justice, engineering, green technology, orthotics and prosthetics, technology in agriculture and more. Students will participate in hands-on interactive learning experiences, work with their peers, meet role models and have fun.
Open your daughters mind and experience the unthinkable, register today before seats fill up.
