Lady Wolves start season at Harper
The Joliet Junior College women's cross
country team began the year with a race at Harper College. Elgin CC came
in first with 40 points followed by Sauk Valley CC (48), Joliet Junior
College (59), and Harper College (63). Krystal Christ finished 3rd with
a 14:18 time, while Lauren Klosak ran a 14:34 time coming in 6th place.
JJC will continue their schedule at the Waubonsee Community College
Invite on Saturday, September 6, 2008. Race time is 10:00 am.

JJC continues season at Waubonsee
The JJC women's cross country team
competed at the Waubonsee Community College Invite finishing with a 65
point score. Lauren Klosak ran a 22:03 race finishing in 16th place,
Krystal Christ finished in 18th place with a 22:06 time, and Maitlin
McCullum had a 24:17 time in 31st place. In the team category, North
Iowa Area Community College finished first with 17 points followed by
Concordia-Chicago with 51 points and Prairie State College with 70
points. JJC will continue their schedule at the Loyola University Invite
on Saturday, September 27, 2008. Race time is 11:00 am.

Lady Wolves compete at Loyola Invite
The Joliet Junior College women's cross
country team ran at the Sean Earl Invitational hosted by Loyola
University. The race had 34 colleges/universities in it ranging from
NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA teams. Lauren Klosak ran a 22:38 race, Maitlin
McCullum finished at 24:41, and Gertrudis Rodriguez came in with a 26:02
time. JJC will continue their schedule at Sauk Valley Community College
on Saturday, October 11, 2008. Race time is 10:00 am.

JJC competes at Sauk Valley
The JJC women's cross country team competed at the Sauk Valley Community
College Invitational this past weekend. The Lady Wolves ran against Lake
County, Prairie State, Harper, Carl Sandburg, Morton, and Sauk Valley.
Lauren Klosak finished in 7th place with a 22:26 time and Matilin
McCullum came in 11th place with a 24:03 time. JJC will run in the
Region IV Championship race on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Sauk Valley
Community College. Race time is 10:00 am. The top finishers will advance
to the NJCAA Division III Championship race at the Community College of
Rhode Island on Saturday, November 8, 2008.
