Joe has been a patrol officer with JJCPD since September 2004. He originally had an interest in Law Enforcement in 1989, but a fulfilling career in the Banking Industry lasted for 18 years. Joe feels that the opportunity to work in Law Enforcement in a collegiate community can have a direct affect on decisions some young adults will make in life. Joe is married with 7 children, 3 that are step-children. His oldest son serves in the United States Navy. Joe’s off-duty activities include spending time with his family and working out to stay physically fit for duty and for the 4th World Masters Games in 2009. Joe has been a World Master Athlete (Basketball) since 1998 (Portland Oregon-USA), 2002 (Melbourne Victoria-Australia) and 2005 (Edmonton Alberta-Canada).
