Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo) are the preferred payment method. Checks or Money Orders are also acceptable, and should be made payable to CLEP.  NO CASH ACCEPTED.

Note: American Literature, Analyzing and Interpreting Literature, English Literature, and Freshman College Composition sometimes require an additional optional essay. If the exam chosen requires an optional essay, the examinee must inform the testing site in advance. There will be an additional $10 fee for the essay questions and a two-week wait for them to be delivered.

ADMINISTRATIVE FEE: $15 payable to Joliet Junior College

Joliet Junior College charges a $15 administration fee to give the CLEP test. This payment is in addition to, and not to be combined with, the CLEP exam fee. Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo) are the preferred payment method. Just make this $15 payment at our Service Center (at the entrance of J-building) and bring the receipt to room J-2013.

TRANSCRIPT FEE: $20

This option is available if a testing candidate chooses to send his/her transcripts to a score recipient other than the one he/she selected on the test. Credit cards are accepted for telephone orders through CLEP Services, 1.800.257.9558. For mail requests use the bottom half of the Candidate Score Report. Instructions are provided on the form.
