Our Mission
It is our mission and commitment to continue to be a respected leader in developing, providing, and maintaining advanced networking services to Joliet Junior College’s students, faculty, and staff, as well as be a technology leader and role model for other institutions and other IT organizations.
We will fulfill our mission by pursuing the following activities:
- Develop and Maintain an Advanced Network.
We are committed to developing and deploying leading-edge networks in support of education.
- Embrace Community.
We will work with the entire JJC community to understand their needs and desires, then develop and support leading-edge network services to support the educational missions identified.
- Leverage Advanced Networks.
We will provide enabling technologies and encourage adoption of advanced networking and technologies as a key component of successful educational initiatives.
- Resource Collaboration.
We will offer shared services and encourage their use to increase the capabilities and maximize the impact of our community's resources.
- Advance Networking Research.
We will encourage cooperative efforts between network and operational groups across the educational community to push the boundaries of networking.
